As a young teen, she dreamt of a life of service to God and so she applied to become a nun after finishing 5th form at Alpha Academy. The Mother Superior wisely told her to wait a year and see if she had the same convictions and you guessed it, during that period she met the man who would become her future husband. Though she did nt get to wear a habit, she instead cultivated a different habit, one of service to the nation as Jean Lowrie-Chin has blazed several professional and philanthropic trails that is a living testimony to her faith, fortitude and fearlessness.
