Living in the Age of ‘Falsies’

 

I remember years ago in the late 80s, watching a movie with Keenen Ivory Wayans called ‘Im Gonna Git You Sucka’ where a woman he was salivating over revealed herself to be fake and when I say fake I really mean fake. We all have issues…What’s yours?

From time to time we come across a woman that seems to have it. She’s fashionably flawless with make-up done right; her posture and presence is on point and she just have it going on plus she commands everyone’s attention when she steps into a room. Charming and educated, she is the picture of what every man maybe searching but for some reason when you check it out low and below she is ‘manless’ and it’s been a while seen she has dated or been involved in a relationship. Desperately seeking ‘Missa Right’

Being married doesn’t mean that I have forgotten what being single is like because trust me I have not. Being single connotes different things to different women but for me the experiences were mainly positive all around. Answering to no one, having a girls’ weekend anytime you want, hogging the cover, not shaving your legs (and other hairy parts) if you don’t feel like it, walking around your home in your old ‘holey’ underwear, belching out loud after you’ve eaten etc. Yep being single can be very liberating!
