We have all been there (well…most of us have). Knocked up and anxious about the tiny life we are carrying within us and worried if we are always doing the right things to ensure that they are developing properly and totally healthy.

The trauma of childbirth!
23 years ago this time (March 5th) I was a teenager in labour scared outta my mind! When the pain started I didn’t know what to do so I started cleaning the bathroom and the house! Hours after that when the contractions started getting worse I told my grandmother and went to lie down and she came into the room and said ‘she not in any pain, woman in labour nuh calm so’. A pity she nuh know. She had filled my head with all these horror stories about first babies taking forever to be born and how her first took over 2 days!
