You hear it all the time when friends call to ‘do road’ and the man at home lament “I can’t go bro, I’m babysitting”. It begs the question how is it that women take care of their children daily but when fathers do it is generally seen as ‘babysitting’? How does one ‘babysit’ their own children?
A wise man once said “anyone can be a father but it takes an exceptional human being to be a dad”. Such is the general consensus our society shares of fatherhood that biology by itself is not the only determinant to being a great father.
